Reach Truck Operator

Operate reach truck equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise in a safe and efficient manner within a warehouse environment.

Perform routine pre-inspection and post-inspection maintenance checks on reach truck equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.

Accurately pick orders and prepare them for shipping, ensuring the correct items and quantities are selected.

Place incoming merchandise in the appropriate storage areas, utilizing the reach truck’s lifting capabilities to maximize space utilization.

Comply with all safety regulations and practices within the warehouse to prevent accidents and injuries.

Collaborate with warehouse staff to plan and organize the layout of storage areas, optimizing space and accessibility for reach truck operations.

Respond to and report any incidents or malfunctions of the reach truck equipment to management immediately.

Participate in inventory counts and audits as required, using the reach truck to access and verify stock levels in high shelving units.
