Description:The Sr. Support Engineer is responsible for providing technical leadership to a vast array of technical challenges within the client's Global Wholesale Banking (GWB) infrastructure technology operations environment. This individual will work on an exciting established team to redefine how GWB services will be delivered to meet global business challenges. This individual will work on a small team of high performing technologists responsible for working with business partners to better define and scope technical requirements for all GWB services, develop achievable and repeatable solutions within the shared global environment, and provide "top tier" support for its operation. This individual will be required to support Executive Management in the support of incidents of critical impact, and will be asked to drive the necessary change across the infrastructure organization to improve operational visibility to IT performance, and proactively identify issues before they become problems. (S)he will lead the way in providing "buck stops here" problem analyses in cases where existing support teams cannot quickly resolve issues.Individual will be required to provide Network and overall DMZ operational support related to Incident Management, Problem Management, troubleshooting and engineering within and connecting to DMZ’s. Reporting into a line of business within the CTO organization and working with TI Enterprise teams. He/she will work with stakeholders on a daily basis to resolve/work on Incidents, Problems, Changes and Service Requests. Operational and Engineering Support role working on Cisco, F5, CheckPoint, AVI, BlueCoat, BlueCat, and general DMZ technologies including an understanding of Middleware and Platform inter-operations within a DMZ. Strong experience in building Networks, configuring Load Balancers, Proxies and developing Firewall policies. Experience of networking, storage, clustering, patching activity. Need to be familiar with building servers, installing software, supporting application releases. Familiarity with Vulnerability Management and Enterprise Security Baselines Should be able to manage a variety of individual network devices. Should be able to adopt new skills and willing to upgrade skill.
