Automotive Technician / Mechanic Wanted

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Part-Time / Full-Time Technician. We have been established for over 30 years - We specialize in repairing Japanese vehicles… primarily Honda and Acura, but work on other Japanese vehicles including the car Toyotas, Nissans, and occasionally Subarus.

You will be working for an owner/manager who started as a technician. Many of the vehicles you will be working on are older model Hondas being repaired to sell. We also service customer cars, primarily those belonging to established customers who have been bringing their vehicles to us for years. We strive to and take pride in providing an excellent, honest auto repair experience to our customers.

Automotive Technician/Mechanic Responsibilities:

Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency

Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment

Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.

Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Automotive Technician/Mechanic Qualifications:

5+ years of automotive mechanic experience required

Pay depends on experience level

Must have your own tools

Must have a valid driver's license

ASE Certifications are a plus

Required to have great attention to detail

Experience with Japanese cars preferred - especially with Hondas

Business Hours are 10:00am - 6:00pm Mon thru Friday. Evening and weekend hours available as well.
