Order Processing and Administrative Assistant
Order Processing and Administrative Assistant needed in Central San Antonio, TX. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to support both front-end customer service and back-office order entry within the food industry. This role involves handling sales orders, customer interactions, and collaborating with warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations. The start time for this position will vary between 2:30am and 4:00am to meet operational demands, with some flexibility based on daily needs. Pay starts at $18 and can go up to $22 per hour, depending on experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
Accurately enter product codes and process sales orders with precision for same-day shipping needs.
Assist walk-in customers by efficiently processing orders, handling cash transactions, and providing the correct change.
Work closely with warehouse staff to verify the correct receipt of products and quantities for order fulfillment.
Maintain compliance and safety reports in accordance with company standards.
Utilize Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) for data entry, report generation, and overall administrative tasks.
Minimum Requirements:
Ability to reliably work early morning hours, starting between 2:30am and 4:00am, with flexibility for overtime as needed.
Strong attention to detail with excellent accuracy in typing and data entry.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Experience with cash handling and basic mathematical skills to provide correct change.
