Museum Host and worker

Crimes of Passion Museum is a small fun, interactive museum located in East Hollywood. We are currently looking for a responsible individual who can interact well with people and pay attention to details within the museum to close it (lighting etc) four days a week- Monday through Thursday.

You must be able to work alone but continually stick to the script and program of the museum. You will be supported through webcam, through text, and there is an overseeing manager who runs the museum next door who is available at all times for support.

The museum works on reservations, so you will be offered the shifts of 3-9 pm four days a week- Monday through Thursday, but on days when there are no late reservations, then you will go home after the last reservation has left the building. This is a family-run business and we will embrace you as a highly respected member of our team. If you value independence and have strong personal integrity and attention to detail, perhaps this is the job for you. We will raise your compensation once you prove yourself.

Please note there will be an initial training period where detailed attention to the program will be carefully monitored. You will be required to learn the program in detail, if you are a person who does not like programs, then this is not the job for you.

There is no down time or phone use. When you are not working with the customers of the museum, you will be required to do prep work such as making case file folders, taking pictures for social media, making packages in the back (there is some crafting work involved- painting, cutting papers, rolling and tying scrolls, tying boxes etc. )

It is a fun atmosphere and you will be the king or the queen- time goes by quickly and people have a great time, so you are around happy people for your entire shift.
