The Hospitality & Catering Lead is responsible for overseeing all aspects of catering operations and event services for our clients. This role focuses on ensuring a premium hospitality experience, managing day-to-day catering needs, and fostering a high-end workplace environment. You will supervise and train a team of 2-3 associates, ensuring that all services are performed to the highest standards and in alignment with Forrest Solutions’ core values and procedures.

Essential Job Functions:

Service Execution & Standards: Ensure all catering and event-related services follow Forrest Solutions' SOPs, and meet client expectations, including set-up, delivery, and post-event breakdown.

Client Interaction & Issue Resolution: Serve as the primary point of contact for all client inquiries, requests, and issues, providing top-tier service and client satisfaction.

Event Logistics & Reporting: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to manage catering logistics, gather event data, and generate detailed reports.

Staff Management: Lead, train, and motivate onsite catering staff to ensure efficient and high-quality service. Cross-train associates in various roles to promote operational flexibility.

Special Event Coordination: Issue SEF (special event forms) for detailed meeting logistics, and work closely with the client to ensure smooth event operations.

Room & Facility Management: Manage large meeting spaces, verify room occupancy, and reclaim unused meeting spaces. Coordinate with executive assistants and centralized teams for meeting requirements.

Compliance & Safety: Enforce compliance with Forrest Solutions and client policies, especially in areas such as safety, conduct, and emergency procedures.

Administrative Reporting: Create and manage reports on room usage, event success metrics, and service delivery performance.

Team Development: Schedule and coordinate staff training programs, monitor performance, and encourage skill development.

Position Requirements:

2-3 years of experience in catering, hospitality, or event planning, preferably in a corporate environment.

High school diploma or equivalent required; a college degree in Hospitality or related field preferred.

Previous supervisory experience in hospitality, hotel, or catering services.

Proven ability to recruit, train, and lead a team.

Strong organizational skills, with an ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Tech-savvy, with a basic understanding of event and facility management software.

Ability to stand for long periods and perform light physical tasks when needed.
