TAX PREPARER

Our firm is looking for a well qualified, detail oriented year round tax preparer to join our team. We offer sick leave, vacation, health insurance benefits and a retirement plan in a warm and comfortable atmosphere. Hours are flexible, and salary is dependent upon ability and experience. Advancement is available for the right person.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

Meet with clients and prepare simple to moderately complex tax returns

Self motivated

Maintain confidentiality of each client by following company procedures

Qualifications and Skills:

Licensed as a Certified Public Accountant or Enrolled Agent a plus

Familiar with common sections of the IRC and regulations

Excellent communications skills

Familiar with tax preparation software; Lacerte knowledge a plus

Be able to research tax questions using available research software

Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs

Ability to work in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision
