Multi-Language Staff Attorney openings- Portuguese, French, Mandarin, and Arabic – Remote.

These positions can be remote, but candidates must live within commuting distance to the DC office for occasional in-office work and team meetings.

The languages available are Portuguese, French, Mandarin, and Arabic. Ideally native speakers, or fully fluent. These opportunities are with a global Washington, DC law firm client.

The Staff Attorneys will work on document review/production team projects. These roles will involve 2nd level review work. Candidates must have at least one year of document review experience in one of the languages, including QC and privilege log/review experience. Candidates must be an active/current member of the D.C. bar, in good standing.

Duties:

Review/analyze/categorize and annotate and/or redact documents and other informational materials in document review database systems, or hard-copy document collections.

Assist in preparation of privilege and redaction logs. As needed draft outlines/memoranda relating to fact discovery issues and findings.

Assist with quality control and review metrics reporting processes

Work with litigation support staff and e-discovery vendors to resolve operational issues with the document collections, databases, and review systems in use.

Requirements:

A minimum of one year of document review experience for an AMLAW 100 or 200 firm working on large litigation, investigation, or arbitration matters, with Priv log/review experience.

Excellent organizational, interpersonal skills, and a strong service orientation; excellent oral and written communication skills.

Strong working knowledge of a discovery document review projects' purpose and typical workflows, and an understanding of the rules and application of attorney-client and work product privilege.

Experience with on-line document review systems such as Relativity, Documatrix, FTI's Ringtail, or similar document review software tools.

Flexibility to work overtime as necessary.

Salary to be determined depending on language, paid OT and full benefits.
