Deputy Director

Position Overview:
As the Deputy Director of Southern Idaho Economic Development Organization, you will work closely with the Executive Director to implement and execute SIEDO’s mission, vision, strategic objectives, and values. You will lead efforts to attract new businesses, retain existing businesses, and diversify the regional economy. Additionally, you will play a critical role in community engagement, infrastructure advocacy, and promoting Southern Idaho as a premier destination for business and investment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Team Support: Assist the Executive Director in the daily operations of SIEDO and lead the team in various economic development initiatives.
- Community Engagement & Collaboration: Build strong partnerships with local government, businesses, and organizations to create a cohesive and collaborative environment for regional development.
- Marketing & Promotion: Lead efforts to promote Southern Idaho as a prime location for business investment, highlighting the region’s assets and opportunities.
- Economic Diversification: Attract new industries and investments to diversify the economy, ensuring long-term resilience across sectors.
- Infrastructure Advocacy: Collaborate with regional stakeholders to improve infrastructure that supports economic development, including transportation, utilities, and technology.

Pay Type and Salary:
This is a salaried position starting at $66,000+ per year, based on experience and qualifications.

The position offers a generous benefits package, including health, dental, term life, and long-term disability insurance. Additional perks include paid time off, 13 paid holidays, and a retirement plan featuring a 401(k) with up to a 3% employer match.
