Direct Support Professional

12 Hour shifts/ every other weekend- Rotate: 3 days off/4 days onResponsibilities

Ensure the clients receive their medicine

Take clients to their doctor appointments

Create daily schedules for their clients

Log all day-to-day activities

Help clients maintain their home by cleaning and doing laundry

Prepare meals for the client

Help the client gain more independence

Set short/long term goals for the client

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent

Valid driver's license

Positive attitude and ability to talk to anyone

Ability to handle stressful situations well

Great communication skills

Ability to lift 50 pounds

Ability to pass a background check
