Accounts Payable Specialist
Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity in Circle Pines, Minnesota for an Accounts Payable Specialist. The role is situated in a hybrid workplace and involves processing inventory bills, credit memos, and account reconciliations. The selected candidate will work closely with supply chain and warehouses, and will be expected to demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Responsibilities: Oversee the processing of inventory bills and credit memos, ensuring understanding and application of debits and credits Perform weekly payment runs and proposals Conduct thorough account reconciliations regularly Communicate effectively with supply chain and warehouses to ensure smooth operations Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address and resolve issues as they arise Maintain a high level of detail orientation in all tasks Utilize Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and Vlookups, to manage and manipulate data Ensure full cycle AP processing, from coding bills to processing with PO related bills and preparing check runs Oversee the entry of inventory and non-inventory bills Sort mail once a week and manage check runs and wire runs as neededPlease note that all candidates are required to provide 2 recent supervisor or manager references in order to be considered for employment.Please submit your resume and call Jordan Lynch at 651-293-3973 for review and consideration.Requirements Minimum of three years of experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Demonstrated ability in Account Reconciliation Experience with Month End Close procedures Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in high volume environment Solid communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Knowledge and understanding of general accounting principles.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
