Sheet Metal Mechanic

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Sheet Metal Mechanics in High Point, NC area!

PAY: $22.00-$24.00 (based upon experience)

HOURS: 40-50 hours a week

SCHEDULE: Monday- Friday

HOURS: 7:00 am-5:00 pm (possible overtime)

START DATE: ASAP

Duration: Temporary to permanent

Sheet metal mechanic job description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sheet Metal Mechanic to join our team. As a Sheet Metal Mechanic, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining sheet metal components in various HVAC systems. This is a hands-on position that requires strong technical knowledge and attention to detail. Run a brake press and shear operator to fabricate sheet metal with minimal supervision - not just duct installation.

Qualifications of Sheet metal mechanic:

- 4+ years of relevant and recent experience

- Install and repair sheet metal components in HVAC systems

- Fabricate and assemble sheet metal products according to specifications

- Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and bend sheet metal

- Inspect and test installed systems to ensure proper functioning

- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time

- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

- Proven experience as a Sheet Metal apprentice or helper experience

- Ability to use hand and power tools effectively

Additional Requirements for Sheet Metal Mechanic:

Must be eligible to work in the United States

Must have reliable transportation to the job site

Must be able to pass a drug screen

Must be able to pass a background check
