Production/Warehouse Associate

We’re searching for a motivated, full-time Warehouse/Production Associate to join our ever-growing team. This position offers significant growth potential, with the opportunity to advance to a supervisory role. We’re looking for someone with the skills, initiative, and drive to grow with us. This is an onsite role, and we are hiring a full-time employee (no contractors).

Key Responsibilities:

Operate forklifts and equipment for production, shipping, receiving, and product staging.

Maintain cleanliness and safety in the warehouse and production area following SSOP procedures.

Assist with accurate physical inventory counts.

Unload and verify incoming materials, ensuring packing slips match purchase orders.

Communicate daily with the President, Sales, Logistics, and Purchasing regarding inventory.

Pick, pull, and prepare orders for shipment.

Follow safety procedures, including lockout/tagout, and ensure quality improvement objectives.

Skills and Preferred Qualifications:

Forklift certification (PLUS)

Experience in food production, distribution, or manufacturing (PREFERRED)

Knowledge of machine operation in food manufacturing (BIG PLUS)

Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)

Basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word)

Ability to lift and move 50-80 lbs bags daily

Attention to detail in counting and calculating portions

Inventory management and discrepancy resolution experience

Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and a proactive approach

SKILLS NEEDED FOR THIS JOB

Food Handler License (BIG PLUS)

Ability to read and write in English (Spanish speaking is a PLUS)

Strong math skills for portioning food ingredients

Commitment to accuracy and quality in your work

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Packaging and food production experience (BIG PLUS)

Working Hours:

M-F, 8 AM-5 PM (occasional Saturdays depending on business needs)

Expected hours: 40-45 per week

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

Forklift certification and 3+ years of experience with pallet jacks and forklifts

Warehouse distribution and shipping/receiving experience (3+ years required)
