Brick, Block. & Stone Mason Journeyman

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Brick Mason to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing and repairing walls, foundations, and other structures using bricks, concrete blocks, and natural stones.

Responsibilities:

- Lay bricks in various patterns to construct or repair walls, arches, fireplaces, and other structures

- Cut or saw bricks to fit around windows, doors, and other openings

- Ensure structures are level using plumb lines and spirit levels

- Mix mortar or grout and spread it onto bricks using trowels

- Clean and polish surfaces with hand or power tools

- Repair or replace damaged bricks

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Brick Mason

- Proficient in working with various types of masonry materials

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics

- Knowledge of construction estimating for material calculations

- Familiarity with stucco application and drywall installation

- Experience in trim carpentry and caulking is a plus

- Strong attention to detail and precision craftsmanship
