Regional President - Austin Region
Description/Job SummaryLOCATION:
Preferred location is Round Rock, but other locations within the Austin Region will be considered based on the candidate and office availability.
This position is expected to be filled no earlier than January 2, 2025.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Agricultural Economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Ten (10) or more years of progressively responsible banking or agricultural lending experience including five (5) or more years in a supervisory, management, and/or leadership role.
FUNCTIONS:
Establishes goals and objectives for the Region and its employees and delegates authority as appropriate to carry out Association goals and objectives. Hires, develops, motivates, evaluates,and provides training of region team employees.
Leads public and member relations activities for the region team, cultivating a positive image for the Association.
Consults with staff on routine loan origination and the analysis, pricing and structuring of credit. Directs and mentors' staff in the analysis and structuring of large and/or complex loans that may entail higher risk to the Association. These loans exceed a delegated authority level established by management. Monitors credit quality and ratings. Meets with customers and business owners to promote new loans, investigate complaints, and resolve customer service issues.
Responsible for compliance with internal controls, credit standards, and standards of conduct for the offices supervised. Ensures that loans in the region portfolio are properly risk rated, assigned LGD's are correct and performance status assignments are proper. Complies with proper credit administration practices as outlined in the Association's policies and procedures. Monitors progress and informs management of the assigned region's success in meeting Association goals.
Reviews past due credits and oversees the development of corrective action plans. Assures that action plans for high-risk credits are properly developed and executed.
Maintains awareness of agricultural trends and business activity, FCA regulations, relevant internal controls, and legal obligations. Ensures all operations comply with applicable policies,regulations, and laws. Oversees the preparation of reports required by Association management,the Board of Directors, and regulatory bodies.
Prepares comprehensive business plans that include projections, budgets, and financial performance for the offices within the region.
Responsible for the performance of an effective marketing strategy in the assigned Region.
Responsible for collections, management of the association's acquired property and loans in litigation in the assigned region.
Verify chattel inspections when required under Association procedures.

General knowledge of accounting/financial systems.
Specialized knowledge of accounting/finance principles.
Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to interpret intermediate to advanced accounting/financial analyses under minimum supervision.
