Diesel Mechanic - Up to $34/hr

Experienced Diesel Mechanics Wanted in Pacific, MO.Position Details:Location: Pacific, MOSchedule:Monday thru Friday - AM Start TimesPay:$28-$34 Per hour depending on experienceJob Duties:Maintain and Repair:Perform maintenance on diesel engines including, commercial vehicles, tractor-trailers, and heavy equipmentand conduct DOT inspectionsInspect and Replace Parts: Inspect, repair, and replace defective or worn parts such as bearings, pistons, and gears.Overhaul Systems: Overhaul and test major components including engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.Manage Parts: Order parts, provide status updates, and document corrective actions efficiently.Ensure Safety: Work effectively in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing safety and professionalism.Adapt and Assist: Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to take on additional duties as assigned.Requirements:Must possess a valid US driver's license and have personal tools (specialty tools provided).Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.DOT Inspections, diesel engine maintenanceQualified to do DOT inspections and have at least 2 years of hands-on experience with diesel engines and equipment, commercial vehicles, tractor-trailers and/or heavy equipment machinesAt least 2 years of experience with diagnostic experience: diesel emissions aftertreatment systems, electrical, air conditioning, powertrainExperience as a diesel engine mechanic with commercial vehicles, tractor-trailers, and heavy equipmentElectrical diagnostic experience, air conditioning diagnostic experience, powertrain diagnostic experience, welding experience, PTO hydraulic systems and live walking floor trailersExperience with Kenworth, Peterbilt, Ford and Sterling brand commercial vehicles2 years of experience with stick welding & wire weldingBrakes & air conditioning certificationsTo apply, please send your resume to dsapio@transforce.com or call Dominique @ 205-775-7537
