We are a busy, established restoration and mitigation contractor seeking a full-time Crew Chief/Project Manager to supervise and support our restoration and mitigation teams in the field. The Crew Chief/Project Manager will join a dynamic, team-driven environment with a positive workplace culture.

The crew chief will lead a team of technicians in the field, with job sites throughout Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, The Bronx, and Westchester and Nassau Counties. Typical site assignments will consist of fire, water, and/or smoke remediation, water extraction, demo, pack outs, and more.

Experience in restoration and mitigation preferred but not required. Experience in remodeling/renovation or related fields and supervisory or team-leader experience a plus.

Responsibilities:

Supervises one or more work crews on-site

Coordinate with home office

Ensure work progresses as scheduled

Serve as point of contact to customers/clients

Coordinate crew equipment and supply requirements

Provide regular progress updates

Coordinate on-site activities with subcontractors

Ensure compliance with industry-standard safety policies and procedures

Travel within greater NYC/Westchester/Western Long Island service area

Able to drive box truck and dump truck

Skills:

Punctual, timely, and reliable

Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Must possess CLEAN, valid driver’s license

Experience in mitigation/restoration and/or general contracting

Prior experience as crew chief or other field leadership a bonus

Strong communication skills

Ability to delegate tasks and manage a small team

Candidate MUST have reliable personal transportation to commute to office

Job Type: Full-Time, flexible schedule

Schedule: 5-6 days per week, after hours work available, MUST have flexible availability
