Bookkeeper/purchasing
We seek an experienced, dynamic and detail-oriented in-house bookkeeper to handle general accounting operations. We are looking for a professional with proven skills in end-to-end transactional accounting. You will enjoy a broad range of responsibilities and get to know the business and operations. This job will also include learning the purchasing position. Working with sales staff and foreman in purchasing material and maintaining inventory.
This is an in-person employee position, not remote or contract.
Responsible for general ledger maintenance, monthly close, reconciliations
Invoice customers and follow up on outstanding invoices, issue statements
Post and process journal entries, record, and document financial transactions, and identify and resolve any financial data discrepancies.
Payroll – work with payroll company weekly/biweekly
Benefits/Insurance-Identify yearly plans/update
Taxes- monthly, quarterly & year-end reports, working with accountant.
Purchasing- ordering and tracking material as needed.
Inventory- maintain inventory levels
This position needs to be flexible and willing to adjust to the needs of the job.
Hours approximately 30-35 hours per week.
