POSITIONS:
Heavy Equipment Mechanic - Assess vehicles and/or machinery to accurately diagnose and repair issues. Facilitate equipment repairs in a safe and efficient manner. Source parts and maintain detailed logs of all repairs. Must work well with others.
Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality/longevity
Schedule future maintenance sessions
Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks)
Keep logs on work and issues
Maintain equipment and tools in good condition
Heavy Equipment Operator - A heavy equipment operator drives or controls construction equipment, including forklifts, excavators, loaders, trucks, loaders and skid steers. They operate this equipment to assist in the construction of structures, including:
Operate heavy equipment in compliance with the company's operating safety policies and procedures
Load and unload equipment from vehicles and trailers
Ensure company equipment, material, and the work site are maintained, kept clean, and stored in a safe manner.
Collect and dispose of scrap, excess materials
Comply with company and OSHA Regulations
Read and understand grades and blueprints
Complete required paperwork, reporting, and other documentation
Construction Laborer - Responsible for various tasks to aid daily operations at a construction site. Their duties include loading and unloading tools or raw materials, assembling trench boxes or other pieces of equipment and digging or filling in pits throughout the construction process.
Cleaning and preparing construction sites.
Loading and unloading materials and equipment
Building and taking down trench boxes and temporary structures
Digging trenches, compacting earth and backfilling holes
Operating and tending machinery and heavy equipment
Following instructions from supervisors and implementing construction plans
Assisting skilled tradespeople in their duties
