Job SummaryThe Install Technician is responsible for assisting in the basic removal and reinstallation aircraft interiors. Duties & Responsibilities

Learns and assists team members with basic upholstery cleaning.

Learns and assists in the installation of seats, cabinetry and other components.

Assists in cutting carpets and mats.

Learns how to read and interpret manuals, diagrams and work orders.

Ensures proper care of customer property at all phases of work.

Accurately completes required paperwork and work order details in Corridor on a consistent and timely basis.

Orders consumables and raw materials in Corridor as required and/or directed.

Receives incoming materials verifying all required documentation is present, confirming color and placing materials in designated locations.

Assists with the shipping of delicate interior items (packaging, crating and protection) as required.

Qualifications & Job Requirements

Prefer one years’ experience as a as an Interiors technician or comparable experience with similar work functions.

Reading and interpreting manuals, diagrams and work orders.

Possess tools necessary to perform job.

Ability to fill out work order/required paperwork.

Ability to complete assigned tasks in a reasonable amount of time.

Other Prerequisites

Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check

Ability to obtain Airport Issued security badge

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Work is performed in an aircraft hangar environment with moderate noise level. The employee is frequently subject to inside environmental conditions, which provide protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. Must have the ability for climbing and bending at the waist, crawling, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, and working at heights, Reaching overhead above the shoulders and horizontally. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, with the occasional requirement to lift up to 100 pounds.
