High School Diploma or Equivalent

The candidate must possess a high degree of initiative and independent judgment.

She/he must be able to perform multiple duties simultaneously with some degree of flexibility

Minimum of 1 year of residency program or student clerkship experience or 3-5 years of office administration experience, preferably in a healthcare and/or education setting

Preferred:

College Degree

Working Shift, Monday-Friday

Day Shift

Full-Time, 37.5 Hours Per Week

Essential Functions:

Develops and manages plans/processes on a yearly planning and implementation cycle that supports department/GME requirements to ensure compliance including recruitment and onboarding of house staff, maintenance of medical education databases and completion of projects, with a significant focus on process improvement

Responsible for development and management of educational and social programs for Residents and Fellows in accordance with established priorities, time and funding limitations

Maintains and monitor program related budgets, work to identify funding sources for educational activities and recommends capital and funding requests for future programmatic needs

Manages internal and external program relations, communication and advanced problem solving with faculty and house staff to ensure smooth communications and effective and efficient coordination of GME training programs
