Wistar's dynamic environment supports the advancement of discoveries that will change the future of human health.The Wistar Institute is recruiting an experienced and highly motivated Post-Doctoral Fellow to join the laboratory of Dr. Chengyu Liang to study cellular/molecular mechanisms in melanoma-host interaction and drug resistance.Research in the Liang Lab is centered on understanding the basic principle of cellular processes to answer key questions in cancer development as well as viral infectious disease. The Liang lab is a multi-disciplinary, highly interactive team, and postdocs are expected to conduct independent and challenging research and work in a highly collaborative manner. Projects will discover potential new targets to guide the personalized treatment of this devastating skin cancer of unmet need. Candidates with strong laboratory experience with penetrating knowledge of molecular/cellular biology, biochemistry, immunology, or related discipline, and demonstrated ability to complete complex research projects will be considered. Prior experience with mice experiments and bioinformatics skills would be helpful.
