As a Professional Development System Coordinator, you will be providing leadership, guidance, and oversight of the statewide professional development system for adult education. This position requires you to maintain a thorough working knowledge and understanding of statutes, regulations, research, and best practices related to professional development for adult education. Work includes leadingshort- and long-term system planning for the professional development system; monitoring and evaluating the projects within the professional development system; and managing all grant activities and reporting requirements related to the professional development system. You will have the opportunity to attend and present at federal and state level conferences, seminars, and workshops related to professional development, technical assistance, as well as adult basic and family literacy education.Interested in learning more? Full-time employment

Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.

Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. You will be required to report in-office the second Wednesday of each month and as directed by your supervisor. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year as an Adult Basic and Literacy Education Advisor 1; or

Five years of professional experience in adult basic or literacy education, including two years in an administrative capacity; and a bachelor's degree; or

Any equivalent combination of experience and training which includes two years of administrative experience in adult basic or literacy education.Other Requirements:
