Job Title: Food Runner / Busser

Location: Cafe Fleur De Lis 301 Chartres– French Quarter, New Orleans

Hours: Shifts available between 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM (must have availability during these times)

Pay: $10 per hour + tips (range from $3-$7) per hour depending on business

Job Description:

We are looking for a Food Runner/Busser to join our fast-paced, bustling breakfast restaurant located in the heart of the French Quarter.

The ideal candidate will be efficient, hard-working, and able to multitask in a busy, two-story restaurant.

You will be responsible for ensuring that food is delivered promptly and accurately to guests, while also maintaining communication between the front of house and the kitchen staff.

Responsibilities:

Safely carry trays of food down stairs to deliver to tables on the first floor

Work in tandem with servers and kitchen staff to ensure food is delivered in a timely manner

Clear and clean tables, reset them for the next guests, and assist with bussing dutiesMaintain cleanliness in the dining areas and help with organizing service stations

Communicate effectively with both front-of-house and back-of-house teams

Assist in replenishing and restocking necessary items during service

Assist with bar or service-related tasks as needed

Requirements:

Must be available for shifts between 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Shifts start between 7am - 9am

Must be able to comfortably and safely carry food trays down a flight of stairs

Ability to work efficiently in a high-energy, fast-paced environment

Excellent communication skills to relay information between kitchen and servers

Friendly and positive attitude with a team-player mindset

Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred but not required

Physical stamina and the ability to stand, walk, and carry items for extended periods

Compensation:

$10 per hour plus tips ($3-$7 per hour)
