Immediately hiring a Boiler Technician for a reputable company in San Diego, CA. This is a day shift and work will be performed at Camp Pendleton, CA. This is a long-term career opportunity.
Job Description
Maintenance, operation, and repair of centralized boiler and chiller equipment and related auxiliary systems.
Ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in a large complex Central Plant, supporting specialized facilities such as hospitals, with over 500 boiler horsepower, high pressure steam heating capacity, and 400 tons centrifugal chiller produced cooling capacity.
Monitor, operate, and maintain high pressure steam boilers, chillers, pumps, cooling towers, deaerators, surge tanks, feed water systems, and steam and chilled water distribution.
Knowledge of chemical treatment systems and central plant DDC control system operation is crucial.
Candidates must possess or obtain within the second year of employment a current Stationary Engineer’s license from a city, state, or nationally recognized entity, such as National Institute for the Uniform Licensing of Power Engineers (NIULPE) First Class Engineer or equivalent.
