Exterior Carpenter / siding / gutters / roof repair
Our company is looking to hire 3 exterior carpenters who have a minimum of 2 years of experience performing exterior improvement work and damage repair. To qualify you must have a minimum of 2 years of experience operating an aluminum break and various other tools and equipment used to perform quality improvements and repairs. This position would fit well with individuals who have experience installing windows, doors, siding, roofs, soffits, fascia boards, drip edge, and gutters. This is not a training position.
WE ARE LOOKING TO HIRE INDIVIDUALS WHO CAN:
Safely complete a task or job in a timely manner without supervision.
Operate an aluminum break and various other tools.
Work on various size ladders and on rooftops.
Do clean caulk work around rooflines and foundations.
Perform all types of exterior repair work.
Communicate with customers and co-workers in a respectful manor.
REQUIREMENTS TO QUALIFY FOR THIS POSITION:
Must provide a resume. Resumes do not have to be fancy but they must include a detailed description of your past work history and 3 work related references with phone numbers.
Must be able to work 40 hours a week all year through without restrictions.
Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Must legally be allowed to work in the United States.
Must be able to read, write and speak English.
Must have a clean cut well-groomed appearance.
Must be able to perform every job with quality craftsmanship.
WHAT COMES WITH THIS POSITION:
7 paid holidays per year. Paid Holidays are New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
Paid vacation time each year. Employees receive one paid week (5 days) of vacation time after completing one continuous year of employment with our company. Employees will receive 2 weeks (10 days) of paid vacation time after working for our company for 3 continuous years.
Company uniforms. Company shirts, hats, hoodies and jackets.
A take home work truck after completing an introductory period. This means new hires do not receive a take home work truck for at least the first 2 weeks from their start date. During the first two weeks new hires are evaluated on conduct, attendance, appearance, quality of work, the amount of time it takes to complete a task or job, safety and attitude. If the new hire conducts their self in a professional manner, comes to work each day on time, dresses in accordance with the company dress code, completes each task or job with quality craftsmanship in a timely manner and is drama free then they will receive a company vehicle that they can drive home each day.
HOURLY PAY FOR THIS POSITION
The starting hourly pay for this position is $30 per hour. A job performance review is given after working 60 days for our company. New hires that have good attendance, who are drama free, accident free, and perform quality work in a timely manner will receive a $2.50 per hour pay increase upon completing their first 60 days. After working the first 120 days with our company new hires will be given another job performance review. If a new hire continues to come to work each day on time, continues to be drama free and accident free and performs quality work in a timely manner then they will receive an additional $2.50 per hour pay increase upon completing their 120 day job performance review. After you have worked with our company for 120 days and you have met all requirements for this position your hourly pay would be $35 per hour.
