Line cook / Pizza Maker
Immediate Position Available in an Italian Restaurant (Must Know Italian food, Pizza, Pasta, and Grill ) looking for a motivated, energetic, and career-minded Kitchen Supervisor, to assist with overseeing all kitchen operations, to prepare daily menu for our restaurant, unloading, package for transportation, stocking and rotating products and maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment in accordance with Health Department standards. Must have basic knowledge of food preparation, basic knife skills and the willingness to learn and take directions from chefs and cooks.
The Supervise will supervisor the staff of the kitchen, participate in the training and development of staff and provide input for performance appraisals and disciplinary action. The Supervising will manage the kitchen in compliance with all health and safety regulations by ensuring adherence to sanitary and safe food handling guidelines at all times.
The candidate must be able to lift 50 pounds or more, health card required, flexible with work environment, must be able to communicate in English fluently, Spanish/Bilingual a Plus. Read and follow recipes. Requesting at least 2 year of work experience in a high volume, casual Italian dining kitchen. A culinary training degree/certificate (Servsafe) is preferred.
Must have reliable transportation.
