Senior Lead Agile Transformation Coach
The Technology for the Chief Operating Office (TCOO ) group provides technology services for the Chief Operating Office. This includes operations, control executives, strategic execution, business continuity and resiliency, data solutions and services, regulatory relations, customer experience, enterprise shared services, supply chain management, and the corporate properties group. T COO provides technology solutions and manages application portfolios for these groups to support modernization and optimization .Within TCOO, the Shared Services Operations Technology (SSOT) team is seeking a Senior Lead Agile Transformation Coach to provide transformation vision for leadership to understand modern agile practices as defined by agile standards and help create roadmaps for moving from their current to target state. The Agile Transformation Coach is a leader for transformation enablement teams that drives priorities with inputs from horizontal partners through the organization. This role collaborates with engineering leadership and architecture to help define products, platforms and services for target state and enable a culture of technical learning and continuous improvement. The Transformation leader will align operating models and blueprints with technology and product leadership as well as coach the organization to delivery on it.In this role, you will:
Build relationships and act as an advisor to senior leadership and teams to guide and influence transformational change for highly complex business needs
Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise to translate Agile and product theory into practical and tangible actions which upskill people, and help evolve how teams work together
Coach for discovery of products and continuous delivery of customer centric work, including creation of product roadmaps, development of product area backlogs, and iterative application development using modern engineering practices
Foster maturation of Agile behaviors and delivery concepts across all levels of staff, and coach leaders to consider readiness, complexity, pragmatic strategies, and the structure required to support software and enable transformation success
Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex challenges by asking open, analytical questions to help rethink, change and coordinate the way work is structured
Create, gain buy-in for, and implement proactive coaching plans that leverage observations and enterprise maturity assessments to evolve the skills of team members, engineering managers, and product managers toward higher levels of maturity
Actively participate in forums and communities of practice to provide strategic thought leadership and guidance on proven approaches for resolving impediments to accelerate delivery
Guide product managers and product owners on the beneficial use of metrics for continuous improvements and data-inspired decisions
Provide vision, direction and mentoring for peer coaches, Scrum Masters, and others, to aid growth and improvement
Guide an effective agile transformation cross lines of business by understanding the need for an agile transformation from a broader business perspective that provides for a well-integrated approach to achieving business, delivery and operational excellence
Leader for virtual enablement team that drives priorities with inputs from horizontal partners through the organization.
Drive definition and implementation of product operating model that focuses on consistent Customer Experiences across multiple products and channels
Provide transformation vision for leadership to understand modern agile practices as defined by agile standards and help create roadmaps for moving from their current to target state
Collaborate with engineering leadership and architects to help define products, platforms and services for target state.
Enable a culture of technical learning and continuous improvement
Align operating models and blueprints with technology and product leadership as well as coach the organization to delivery on it.
Enable overall organizational change from a project-centric to a product-centric customer focus
Ensure a coordinated delivery and strong collaboration across technology, product owners and partners
Optimize engagement through expert knowledge of agile practices
Leverage an agile framework at scale both pre and post transformation through agile development
Accountable for program / product / project delivery of significant risk, complexity, scope, and financial impact for a single large functional area or a combination of small diverse functional areas
Serve as the primary liaison between the product line and various support partners in achieving business deliverables; includes planning and implementation of strategies, policies and process advancements
Establish priorities and drive accountability for assigned initiatives, providing leadership to ensure solutions are designed, integrated and controlled to optimize effectiveness, account for all aspects of risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate
Work with key internal and/or external partners, possibly including agency representatives, regulators and auditors, to distill complex concepts into pragmatic and simplified/targeted solutions
Develop and implement reporting/information delivery/presentations with key stakeholders and senior management within responsible area, including root cause, cost/benefit, and risk analyses
Provide direction to a cross-functional team using business acumen and expertise
Manage a team of agilest including Scrum Masters and Scrum Master Managers
Define and substantiate cost of Agile Transformation Investments.
Drive Agile tools standardization and implementation.
Align Agile Transformation with technology modernization initiatives (Cloud, CI/CD, DDD, Microservices).
Collaborate with peers across CP&E to integrate their practices such as Engineering, Architecture, Data, Security, and Automation into integral part of Agile execution.
Required Qualifications:
7+ years of Agile (Coaching, Scrum or product owner) experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
5+ years of experience supporting complex organizational change
4+ years of experience in providing thought-leadership and building alignment with multiple stakeholders and partners
Desired Qualifications:
Agile based certification (Scrum, PMP or equivalent)
Excellent communication (oral and written) with ability to communicate at multiple levels ranging from technologists to senior managers and executive leadership
Ability to deliver & engage with partners effectively in a complex environment by demonstrating co-ownership & accountability in a matrixed structure
Ability to develop and execute business vision, strategies, and goals
Ability to research and self-study to keep technical skills relevant in a highly complex environment
A bachelor degree or higher in technology related field or equivalent experience preferred
Delivery focus and willingness to work in a fast-paced, enterprise environment

Pay for this Role in San Francisco and NYC ranges from $138,500.00 to $287,600.00 depending on experience and expertise.Pay for this Role in Iselin NJ ranges from $126,400.00 to $262,600.00 depending on experience and expertise.Pay for this Role in Chandler AZ, Irving TX and Charlotte NC ranges from $120,400.00 to $250,000.00 depending on experience and expertise.
