Property Administrator
Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Property Administrator in the Real Estate & Property industry. Our office is located in Columbia, Maryland and the role will involve maintaining relationships with vendors and tenants, managing contracts, and ensuring compliance with company policies.Responsibilities: Administration of contracts including creating new contracts, purchase orders, and lease-related documents. Oversee the process of contract amendments, renewals, expansions, and terminations. Maintain an up-to-date database for vendor/contractor and tenant Certificates of Insurance (COIs). Review COIs to ensure compliance with company policies and lease/contract requirements. Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors and tenants, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner. Prepare and maintain accurate records of contracts, COIs, and other related documents. Generate reports as needed for management review. Provide support to Tenant Coordination and the Portfolio Manager with work order ticket support and project coordination. Ensure all contract-related activities adhere to company policies and industry regulations. Collaborate with property management, leasing, and other teams to ensure seamless communication and effective project execution.Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook Knowledge of Accounting Functions Ability to handle Correspondence and Documentation Understanding of Insurance policies and proceduresRequirements Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook Knowledge of basic accounting functions Capable of managing correspondence efficiently Experience in handling documentation related to property administration Familiarity with insurance policies relevant to the real estate and property industry Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of real estate laws and regulations Prior experience in a similar role in the real estate industry would be advantageous.
