Audit Manager - Public
Description We are in search of an Audit Manager - Public for our Saint Paul, Minnesota location. As an Audit Manager - Public, you will be tasked with managing various client assignments and projects, including the successful completion of assignment tasks and project components. This role is within the public accounting industry and requires an individual with strong skills in Audit Engagements, Auditing, Audit Plans, Budget Processes, and Supervisory management.Responsibilities: Manage and oversee various client engagements simultaneously, ensuring the success of each project Apply GAAP to accounting issues, interpreting, and researching with minimal supervision Apply GAAS to auditing issues, interpreting, and researching with minimal supervision Assess risk and design planning, audit procedures, and supervise all phases of audit engagements Utilize the Audit Methodology employed by the firm Maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations and ensure satisfaction Review team members’ work for accuracy and compliance with professional standards, providing supervision as necessary Develop, train, manage, and mentor team members on projects and assess performance for engagements Work with partners on business development and proposals Build and nurture strong working relationships with client management Requirements Proficiency in conducting Audit Engagements is mandatory for this role. Applicant must possess strong skills in Auditing and Audit Plans development. Familiarity with Budget Processes is crucial for this position. The role demands strong Supervisory Management skills to effectively manage the audit team. Prior experience in Public Accounting Audit is a must for this position.
