Description We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Sr. Accountant to join our team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. As a Sr. Accountant, your primary function will be to handle day-to-day accounting activities, manage general ledger operations, prepare financial statements, and conduct account and balance sheet reconciliations. This position is an opportunity for seasoned professionals who are adept at maintaining accuracy in their work and possess a strong understanding of accounting principles.Responsibilities: Handle general ledger operations and ensure the accuracy of journal entries. Conduct month-end and year-end closes in a timely and accurate manner. Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness. Perform account and balance sheet reconciliations regularly. Conduct bank reconciliations regularly and ensure all transactions are properly recorded. Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize and analyze financial data. Manage day-to-day accounting activities to ensure compliance with the established regulations and procedures. Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports. Ensure timely reporting of monthly financial information. Support the team in the development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department.This client is looking to hire immediately, with interviews as soon as this week! Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required. Must have experience in account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations. Familiarity with general ledger and journal entries is essential. Experience in month-end close procedures and preparing monthly financials is required. Must be able to review and prepare financial statements. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
