Description We are in search of a Database Developer to join our team in Bossier City, Louisiana. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining software systems, particularly using SQL, C# and C. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and participating in all phases of the software development life cycle will be key to your success. Your expertise will contribute to the health insurance industry by creating functional requirements and logic for coding purposes.Responsibilities: Design, develop and maintain software systems, primarily utilizing SQL, C# and C Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and business specifications Modify existing software to correct errors, improve performance or add new functions Analyze user requirements and determine how to translate them into applications Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle including design, development, QA testing, deployment, and documentation Regularly interact with the project manager to provide understanding of operational issues and maintain effectiveness Recommend and execute improvements utilizing diverse programming languages Work with the team for continuous product development Understand the needs and challenges of the health insurance sector and devise innovative solutions. Requirements Proficiency in SQL, SQL Code and SQL Database is mandatory. Strong experience in C Sharp Programming (C#) is required. Demonstrable skills in C programming are necessary. Ability to create and manage comprehensive databases. Experience in software development and user interface development. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards. Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Experience in data architecture and data warehousing is a plus. Knowledge of data management and visualization techniques would be beneficial. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
