Job: Licensed Massage Therapist in Portland, OR
Are you a skilled and licensed massage therapist passionate about holistic wellness and have experience in medical terminology and SOAP notes?
Do you have an NPI (National Provider Identification) number?
We seek a dedicated individual to join our wellness clinic who has experience working within a medical environment, receiving instruction and feedback from Chiropractors, Acupuncturists, and fellow massage therapists.

Location :
We are located in the Landing Building, in the Johns Landing area, 5200 S. Macadam Ave, near all major freeways, between Ross Island and the Sellwood bridge on the west side. About a 15min drive from every quadrant: N, S, SE, NE, and 1.5 miles south of downtown Portland.
Responsibilities & Expectations:
Willingness to perform full-body therapeutic deep tissue massages tailored to individual patient needs and treatment plans.
Willingness to collaborate with healthcare providers to integrate massage therapy into patient care programs.
Proficient in anatomy, and medical terminology, musculoskeletal diagnosis, and maintaining accurate SOAP chart notes for each session. We bill most insurance carriers for massage.
Educate patients on the benefits of massage therapy in supporting their overall health and encourage rescheduling.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the clinic for integrated patient care.
Adhere to ethical and professional standards in the practice of massage therapy.
Requirements:
Valid Massage Therapy license in the state of Oregon.
NPI number
Proven experience as a Massage Therapist with expertise in medical terminology.
Proficiency in creating thorough SOAP notes for each client session.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry practices.
Other duties involved and compensated hourly wage.
We are open M-F and two Saturdays a month for massage. Hours are flexible. Must work 24hrs/wk to qualify for insurance benefits.
Nice to have: Credentialed with insurance.
