Remote Accounts Receivable Specialist

Seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team! As a remote AR Specialist, you'll manage and maintain accurate records, process invoices and payments, and communicate with customers.

Responsibilities:

- Manage AR accounts, verify and process invoices and payments

- Send invoices, statements, and follow up on overdue payments

- Resolve customer disputes and discrepancies

- Post payments, reconcile AR accounts monthly

- Analyze AR trends, identify potentially uncollectible accounts

- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams

Requirements:

- 2+ years of AR experience

- Strong accounting knowledge (GAAP)

- Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero)

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Analytical and problem-solving abilities

- Attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

- Associate's/Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

- Certified Accounts Receivable Specialist (CARS) or Certified Accounting Professional (CAP)
