Construction HELPER

Carpenter / Remodeler / Jack-Of-All-Trades - HELPER

WANTED: Someone looking to have a good stable career. This is an entry level position BUT it will grow as you grow. The more skills you learn, the more money you will make. We are looking to train you to be best member of our team possible. We are looking for a motivated, honest, hard-working helper with a strong work ethic to become an important part of a fast growing, highly respected, VERY BUSY, remodeling and general construction company. This person will learn the basics of all aspects for residential construction. From one day to the next you could be helping with: Fence Building, framing a wall, Hanging Sheetrock, Taping & Floating, Setting Tile, Installing engineered Flooring, Installing Cabinets, Setting a Toilet, Installing a door, Building Closet Shelving, Installing Crown Molding, Painting walls and trim, Installing a Kitchen Sink, Building a Deck, Repairing Wood Rot, Hanging a Ceiling Fan, ETC. ETC. ETC.

THE MAIN JOB of a helper is going to be cleaning job sites, getting material for jobs, picking up and dropping off items, landscaping, hauling off trash and also helping the carpenters and painters.

My new team member will have the following attributes:

DO NOT APPLY FOR THIS JOB UNLESS YOU MEET THE FOLLOWING:

1. Have a reliable TRUCK (Sorry, but this is a firm requirement), with insurance.

2. Must be DRAMA FREE.

3. Able to learn how to read a tape measure! Ex: 3/8th, 11/16th, 5/8th, etc.

4. Must be able to pass a drug test.

5. Must be able to pass a criminal background test.

6. Must have some basic tools (A tool belt or tool bag, a hammer, screw drivers, plyers, a cordless drill, etc.).

7. Must be able to work well around other staff member. (You will be working as a part of a team of other professionals who will treat you with respect and you should be able to do the same.)

8. Must have a reliable cell phone. You must be able to send and receive phone calls and texts messages every day, all day. You must be able to send and receive text messages. You must be able to find directions to job sites (i.e.; GPS, Google Maps, etc.).

9. MUST be dependable. Show up to work on time every day (like EVERY DAY. . . in a row) AND must show up on time.

10. MUST BE FAST A good carpenter does quality work QUICKLY.

11. You MUST BE WILLING TO LEARN and improve your skills!

HERE'S WHAT I WILL GIVE YOU:

1. Pay = The high end of the industry because I want the best people possible.

2. Gas - I will buy all your gas if and whenever you are using your truck for my jobs.

3. I will always pay you on time and completely.

4. I will keep you busy - At least 5 days per week - at least 40 hours per week.
