Job Description:

We are looking for experienced Bus Mechanics (Levels A and B) with expertise in diesel motor coach mechanics. Experience with battery electric vehicles and electrical systems is a plus. Candidates must bring their own hand tools.

Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems.

Perform preventive maintenance and inspections.

Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel and electric buses.

Maintain accurate service records and ensure safety compliance.

Qualifications:

Must have your own hand tools.

Level A: Advanced diesel mechanic experience Battery electric vehicle/electrical experience preferred.

Level B: Intermediate diesel mechanic experience Battery electric vehicle/electrical knowledge preferred.

Compensation:

Level A: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour, based on experience.

Level B: $20.00 - $36.00 per hour, based on experience.

Licenses: Valid Florida driver's license with a clean driving record.

Skills: Competent in inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing vehicle systems.

Must be over 18 years old and able to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.

Experience: Automotive, bus, truck, or diesel engine repair experience preferred.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; diesel/heavy-duty vehicle training a plus.

Essential Functions:

Ability to lift and work with 10-50 pounds.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Proficiency in reading safety rules and repair manuals.

Ability to communicate clearly in English with coworkers, drivers, and vendors.
