Vice President of Home Supports

The Vice President of Home Supports, leads division teams to ensure high quality of service delivery that meet the needs of programming and funding stakeholders. Responsible for the overall management of the continuum/range of Home Supports programs that uphold The Arc’s mission and meet or exceed qualitative and regulatory standards. Ensures that divisional leaders are implementing key objectives, maintains high standards of direct care and conducts ongoing monitoring and management of operations. As an executive team member, the VP of Home Supports deploys dynamic thought and visionary leadership to create strategic alignment and drive innovation among all members of the team who support and inform The Arc of Opportunity’s programming. Utilizes analytics and insights to conduct data-based decision-making to ensure program outcomes are met. Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm (40 hr/week) Responsibilities:

Responsible for implementing key objectives, ensuring high standards of direct care and ongoing monitoring and management of operations in assigned home support programs

Communicate the strategic vision and direction for program goals and delivery and ensure programming outlines align with organizational strategies.

Ensure that divisional teams facilitate a culture of belonging and excellence resulting in increased independence and improved quality of life for program participants

Develop and execute short/long term goals, which enhance and support organizational strategic plan and priority initiatives.

Model a commitment to continuous learning and exploration of race, equity, inclusion, and cross-cultural competency in the workplace.

Knowledge and application of quality measures for licensing and certification E.g., CARF, MassHealth and Optum, MRC/MFP, and DDS Office of Quality Enhancement

Oversight and management of risk and quality as it pertains to each division

Finalize all assigned divisional budgets and ensure programming alignment against fiscal plan and objectives.

Negotiate contracts and contract amendments, monitor overall spending/ overtime, and revenue generation across programs.

Cross-functional communication skills which convey clear direction, desired results and vision to direct reports, individuals/families served, government agencies, peers and executive management

Possess a high degree of comfort and practice in public speaking and brand ambassadorship.

Engagement and advocacy on state level with funders and other stakeholders

Marketing through knowledge and cross-selling of various service models; staying up to date with changes in service delivery; developing innovative models of service delivery

In partnership with the Human Resources department, oversees hiring, terminations, performance management, and supervision systems

Responsible for the development, implementation & monitoring of management objectives and systems.

Ensure operational and service standard compliance with all federal, state and agency policies within all programs

Qualifications:

Five years successful senior leadership experience in human services, program management, or public advocacy with direct experience addressing cross-system issues, resource management, and programmatic evaluation including expertise with data analysis to identify gaps/disparities and inform strategies communications, advocacy, and public policy.

Graduate degree in relevant field and a minimum of five years successful senior leadership experience. Or,

Bachelor’s degree and significant (5 or more years) successful senior leadership experience in relevant health and human services field

A Valid driver’s license and acceptable CORI/SORI/Fingerprinting/ DPPC Registry/Driving Record results
