Description We are seeking a Sr. Accountant to join our professional services team in Orlando, Florida. In this role, you'll be primarily focused on project-related accounting tasks, including billings, collections, management reports, and accounts payable. Responsibilities Assist in project-related accounting, mainly concentrating on billings, collections, management reports, and accounts payable. Analyze and interpret contracts for a clear understanding of the financial implications. Execute bank reconciliations and journal entries. Handle collections, ensuring prompt payment of invoices. Maintain a multi-task job schedule to ensure daily routine tasks and project work are accomplished effectively. Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. Ensure compliance with organizational policies and applicable laws. Collaborate with teams to accomplish project work. Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail in all responsibilities. Adapt to a high-pressure environment with multiple deadlines.To apply message Kathy Downs on LinkedInRequirements Must hold a minimum of 3 years of experience in a professional accounting role. Degree in accounting or finance Demonstrable experience with General Ledger management. Must have strong Microsoft Excel skills. Experience in Month End Close procedures. Prior experience handling Commercial Construction Projects is required. Knowledge of Project Accounting is required. Must have a strong understanding of financial reporting standards. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
