Oregon Journeyman Plumber
We are seeking a skilled, honest, driven, and experienced Oregon Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. As a Journeyperson Plumber, you will be responsible for performing various plumbing tasks including installation and repair. Duties:
- Install and repair plumbing systems in commercial buildings
- Collaborate with other tradespeople such as electricians, carpenters, and HVAC Journeymen to complete projects
- Read blueprints and follow building codes and regulations
- Perform inspections to identify plumbing issues and provide appropriate solutions
- Upgrade boilers, sinks, toilets and other areas requiring plumbing upgrades
- Assemble and install pipes, fittings, valves, and fixtures
- Test plumbing systems for leaks using pressure gauges
- Troubleshoot plumbing problems and make necessary repairs
- Train new apprentices in proper plumbing techniques and practices
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing techniques and practices
- Proficiency in basic math for measuring, cutting, and fitting pipes
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience with remodeling projects involving plumbing upgrades
- Familiarity with carpentry skills for framing walls and installing fixtures
- Knowledge of HVAC systems for proper coordination during installations or repairs
- Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose plumbing issues accurately
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality workmanship
