Legal Secretary/Paralegal

2-3 years' legal experience. Paralegal Degree/Certificate or in the process of obtaining preferred, but not required.

DUTIES:

- Generates drafts and finalizes pleadings, discovery, and other legal documents

- Oversees and coordinates court filings, including e-filing (both State and Federal Courts)

- Manage attorneys' calendars and deadlines

- Schedules and coordinates depositions, mediations, IMEs, court reporters, etc.

- Retain experts and coordinate their review of documents

- Provide secretarial support and day-to-day handling of desk

- Communicate with court, counsel, clients, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- 2-3 years' legal experience

- Experience with e-filing

- Strong proofreading and grammar skills, attention to detail

- Organized, professional, responsible, strong work ethic

- Strong communication skills, verbal and written

- Motivated to learn and accept new challenges

- Team player
