Finish Carpentry Estimator
We are seeking a full-time estimator for a finish carpentry company. The main purpose of an Estimator is to compile bids and proposals for multiple upcoming jobs. The estimator will communicate daily with the Project Coordinator and Project Managers, to ensure accuracy and correctness of the preparation of the proposal. The estimator will also communicate with Vendors to obtain quotes to add into the proposal. You will be preparing material cost projections by analyzing project documents and plans. You will also be generating submittals, RFI’s, change orders, and preparing closeout documents. Organization is a key function for this position and must be considered when applying. Our Team uses Google Drive and Excel to create our Proposals.

Sending Professional Emails
- Analyze Plans and Specifications to gain a deep understanding of the project requirements
Research discrepancies within the plans
- Maintain required project documentation
- Create and present bids to upper management for review
Qualifications:
Previous knowledge & experience with finish carpentry and construction is highly preferred
Well organized & reliable

Requirements:
Must be able to read blueprints and preform/understand takeoffs
5 Years of Microsoft Office Experience: Excel
Proficient with computer software programs Bluebeam, Plan Swift or Other Estimating Software (Highly Preferred)
College Degree Construction Management or Architecture (Preferred)
