Accountant
Description Robert Half is partnerting with a reputable locally owned company based in Beaverton, OR who is in need of bringing in an interim Accountant. This role involves managing day-to-day accounting functions to support their team and is expected to last at least 3 months. Responsibilities: Manage daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency Handle accounts payable (AP) to guarantee all financial obligations are met on time Conduct general ledger (GL) accounting, maintaining accurate records of all transactions Prepare journal entries (JE) for financial transactions and events Manage month-end accruals ensuring all financial data is accounted for within the correct period Perform reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and validity of financial data Utilize QuickBooks Online for various accounting operations Monitor accounts receivable (AR) to maintain accurate customer credit records Perform other accounting functions as needed to support the financial health of the companyRequirements Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Familiarity with QuickBooks software Experience with Month End Close procedures Knowledge of Monthly Accruals Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or applicable experience Looking for someone with 5+ years of Accounting experience Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong analytical and problem-solving skills High degree of accuracy and attention to detailRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
