Sr. Supply Chain Manager, SCOT S&OP, ALDF Field
DescriptionWe are looking for a Sr. Supply Chain Manager (L6) to lead the S&OP space for North America (NA S&OP) for DF SWA, AMXL and UPS carriers. This team leads S&OP planning and execution for NA Direct Fulfillment’s carrier capacity, determining services needed to provide services for thousands of vendors, drawing on Third Party and Amazon Logistics (1P) capacity.Key job responsibilities
Drive forecasting, capacity planning and ensure we are un-constraining the network E2E for SWA, AMXL, UPS
Analyze the impact of business changes on demand and continuously improve the forecasting processes by diving deep into the gaps within existing tools and by automation and standardization while working with internal and external stakeholders (Retail, Finance, Transportation, Operations).
Work with partners in Amazon logistics business, Amazon Procurement, and 1P Carriers to align capacity to demand, with respect to origin location, size, special handling requirements, and speed expectations.
Own goals for Transportation Execution and provide visibility to key metrics through regular business reviews with internal stakeholders and Leaders (Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly Business Reviews).
Build alignment with internal and external transportation providers; negotiate and deliver incremental carrier capacity when needed to meet program volume, particularly for Prime week and Peak season.
Measure quality of services delivered by 3P and 1P transportation providers. Develop mechanisms to provide visibility to performance and hold partners accountable.
Work with Direct Fulfillment colleagues in Business Development, Account Management, Product, Tech as well as Amazon internal carriers to build processes and tools to enable scalable and flexible operations and drive growth towards program goals.
Influence the vision and detailed requirements for automated solutions to enable our business to manage key levers like transit time, transit time contingencies, and carrier capacity.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of program or project management experience
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of driving process improvements experience
Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

The base pay for this position ranges from $103,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $181,400/year in our highest geographic market.
