Creative Program Manager, Design Ops, AWS Brand
DescriptionThe AWS Global Brand team is looking for an experienced, self-starting Creative Program Manager to drive on-brand, effective creative development at scale through AWS agencies of record. In July 2024, the Brand team launched an updated brand system with a goal of creating an ownable, recognizable, and unified experience for our customers. As part of the Brand Design Operations team, the Sr Creative Program Manager will play a critical role in driving adoption of this new brand system through the development and managing of Brand programs to support AWS Marketing’s Creative Vendor Program.The ideal candidate would have demonstrated experience managing creative vendor relationships; working closely with Finance, Procurement, and Brand teams; interpreting and governing brand strategies and guidance; building and managing brand and creative training and auditing mechanisms; and working in large in-house brand or creative teams. You will be adept at succeeding in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities and opinions, and have a desire to build meaningful relationships. You will earn the trust of your peers, stakeholders, and external partners; demonstrate bias for action and problem solving skills; and maintain clear and concise communication across all initiatives.This is an exciting opportunity to lead a priority initiative for the AWS Brand team and larger Marketing organization, unlocking efficient, effective, and high bar creative at scale.Key job responsibilities
Work collaboratively with Procurement and Finance to ensure effectiveness of the Creative Vendor program.
Establish and implement processes and mechanisms that allow marketers to easily identify the right agency partner.
Manage external agency relationships and implement programs meant to ensure success for both Marketing stakeholders and agencies of record.
Establish and implement training programs, quality control, and auditing mechanisms that ensure agency understanding and adoption of brand guidance.
Lead internal communications about the Creative Vendor program, processes, and best practices.
Work closely with the Design Operations Lead to ensure agencies have access to the right tools and templates.
Manage Brand-requested updates to the Design Portal, Wikis, and other training and education platforms.
Manage Brand-owned stakeholder and agency support mechanisms including Slack Help channels and office hours.
Track opportunities for refinement or expansion of brand guidance and tools, and work closely with brand system leads and the Design Operations Lead to implement.
Track and report on program goals.
Meaningfully support and collaborate with peers supporting the Creative Vendor Program.

5+ years of experience managing creative vendor or agency programs within an in-house brand or marketing organization.
5+ years of working within an in-house brand or marketing organization.
Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years' relevant experience within an in-house or brand and creative team.
Preferred Qualifications
10+ years of experience managing creative vendor or agency programs within an in-house brand or marketing organization.
Previous experience in technology or sales-led B2B organizations
Ability to build meaningful relationships with agency partners and internal stakeholders.
Global or multi-country localization and/or transcreation experience
Ability to interpret and communicate brand strategy and guidance to stakeholders.
Familiarity with design processes, tools, and systems, with a keen eye for optimization and efficiency.
Familiarity with Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems and asset management best practices.

The base pay for this position ranges from $119,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $197,200/year in our highest geographic market.
