We are committed to excellence in design and manufacturing, and we’re looking for a talented Tool Engineer with aerospace experience to contribute to our success.Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop precision tooling for aerospace applications, including BoxJoint, gears, linear slides, and other complex mechanical systems.

Utilize OnShape to create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings, ensuring manufacturability and adherence to design specifications.

Apply expert-level knowledge of GD&T to ensure proper fits, tolerances, and tooling locators in all designs.

Conduct thorough inspections and validations of tooling designs to maintain high standards of quality and performance.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements in tooling processes and designs.

Train and mentor team members in OnShape software, sharing best practices and techniques for efficient design.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in tooling design within the aerospace industry.

Proficiency in OnShape; ability to teach and support others in the software.

Strong understanding of Solid Mechanical Engineering principles, including BoxJoint, gears, and linear slides.

Expert knowledge of GD&T, with a focus on precise tooling locators and 2D drawing capabilities.

Exceptional attention to detail, with a commitment to producing high-quality, manufacturable designs.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
