iOS/Android/Web/ Backend Dev in exch. for shares
We are a Seattle based company looking for a couple of talented iOS/Android/Web developers to help us develop additional complementary products, fix bugs and improve our Android/iOS and web based unique secure communication application on a part-time basis (10 hours a week) in exchange for company shares after a 1-year cliff. In addition to the awarded shares, these positions will also be compensated once our future revenue goals are met. Join us and let's become millionaires together.
BACKGROUND
We are a bootstrapped C-corporation tech company located in Seattle, Washington
We currently have products available on the Appstore, and google Play.
Our brand was featured in a Forbes article and has received some good reviews by cybersecurity experts
The product has been downloaded over 300,000 times across iOS and Android platforms and we have paying users.
We have a plan in place to grow our revenue next year, as we are currently talking to companies and government entities who are looking to adopt our product, which is why this is the right time for you to join.
CANDIDATE SCREENING:
Because we will be raising capital in the near future and contracting with government agencies, all candidates will be subject to a background check. All applicants must be US Citizens, Permanent Residents, or legally authorized to work in the United States.
Who we are looking for:
2 to 3 Senior iOS/Android/Web Developers
- 3 years of general experience as a developer and specific experience working on secure chat apps with voice and video conferencing (experience with WebRTC, and media servers, and APIs). Previous experience working on collaboration apps like Slack, Zoom, Wicker, WhatsApp, Microsoft Teams, Skype or similar is highly preferred.
2 to 3 FULL-STACK DEVELOPERS
Required Skills:
- 2 years of experience deploying complex web applications on Cloud servers such AWS, Google Cloud, IBM Cloud, Oracle Cloud, and Digital Ocean.
- Proficiency in back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, ASP.NET, Java, or similar).
- Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js).
- Strong understanding of application security principles and practices (e.g., OWASP Top Ten).
- Experience with database management (SQL and NoSQL databases).
- Familiarity with email protocols (IMAP, POP, SMTP).
- Knowledge of encryption technologies and secure coding practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
2 APPLICATION SECURITY ANALYSTS
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in application security and secure coding practices.
- Familiarity with security testing tools (e.g., Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP).
- Knowledge of web application firewalls (WAF) and intrusion detection systems (IDS).
- Experience with threat modeling and risk assessment methodologies.
- Understanding of regulatory compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
2 DEVOPS/CLOUD INFRASTRACTURE ENGINEERS
Required Skills:
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and managing physical servers.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI).
- Expertise in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Solid understanding of scaling strategies (e.g., auto-scaling, load balancing).
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Knowledge of networking (DNS, VPN, load balancing) and security best practices.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) for performance and capacity planning.
- Experience with scripting and automation (Python, Bash, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:
Cloud certifications (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Google Cloud Professional, etc.).
Strong understanding of microservices architecture.
Previous experience merging DevOps and Infrastructure roles in a fast-paced environment.
Working Location:
This position will be REMOTE and you can work from anywhere you choose, but will be required to sign an NDA and a non-compete, and follow best security practices when accessing the code remotely.
Working hours:
You will required to contribute at least 10 hours per week to the project, and you make your own hours. We may need you to step in urgently if something requires your immediate attention, such as a service being down.
