Senior Manager, Incident Response

As a diversified, national organization, Centene's technology professionals have access to competitive benefits including a fresh perspective on workplace flexibility.Position Purpose:Manages the investigation and resolves security incidents, recommending enhancements to improve security, identifying common attack patterns to publicly exposed aspects of the organization's environment, and contributing to the implementation of scalable and preventative security measures. Executes enterprise-wide Incident Response Plan. Partners with business units to accomplish enterprise-wide remediation developing and delivering presentations to senior leadership team.
Manages day-to-day operations of the Cybersecurity Incident Response Team (CSIRT).
Recommends process improvements.
Stays abreast on current technology trends and Information Technology concepts.
Manages the hiring and training of new and existing staff, conducts performance reviews, and provides leadership, technical guidance and coaching.
Shares knowledge and develops staff capabilities to strengthen understanding of business issues and best practices.
Develops and communicates organizational objectives; inspires and motivates team members to achieve results.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:Requires a Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of related experience, including prior management experience.Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.Technical Skills:
Prior experience securing large scale AWS and Azure deployments
Prior experience in responding to incidents involving Cloud deployments
Understanding of latest Cloud attack tactics and techniques
Ability to lead a technical team and act as incident commander for large scale incidents

Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
