Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods and services, managing communication between drivers and customers, and ensuring timely and efficient delivery. This role is crucial in maintaining our operations and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate Dispatch Operations: Assign drivers to routes based on customer needs and driver availability.

Monitor Deliveries: Track and monitor deliveries to ensure they are completed on time and address any delays or

issues as they arise.

Communicate Effectively: Serve as the primary point of contact between drivers, customers, and other

stakeholders. Provide clear and concise instructions and updates.

Problem-solving: Address any issues that may arise during deliveries, such as traffic delays, mechanical issues,

or customer concerns.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all dispatch activities, including driver logs, delivery times, and any

incidents.

Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with company policies and relevant regulations, including safety

standards.

Qualifications:

Experience: Previous experience in a dispatching role or similar logistics/transportation experience preferred.

Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment,

and strong problem-solving abilities.

Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with dispatch software and GPS tracking systems.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in logistics is a plus.

Availability: Must be willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
