Bookkeeper
Description We are working with a construction client looking for a Bookkeeper to join the team. In this role, your primary function will be to manage and maintain accurate financial records, oversee accounts receivable and payable, and ensure adherence to accounting regulations.Responsibilities: Accurately process vendor invoices and manage accounts payable. Maintain the general ledger by recording all financial transactions meticulously. Obtain and record pricing quotes in the accounting system. Generate comprehensive financial reports to facilitate management decision-making. Manage accounts receivable to ensure timely collection of payments. Perform account reconciliation tasks to ensure accuracy of financial data. Use Microsoft Excel for various accounting operations and financial data analysis. Apply bookkeeping knowledge to maintain accurate financial records. Use the Construction Accounting system and ComputerEase for specific industry-related accounting tasks. Collaborate effectively with team members and vendors, demonstrating strong communication skills.Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in a bookkeeping role Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Bank Reconciliations Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles Proficient use of Microsoft Excel for financial tasks and reporting Experience in Construction Accounting is preferred Familiarity with ComputerEase software is a plus Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
