Technical Support Specialists

Description We are on the search for a Technical Support Specialist to join our team in Albany, New York. This role primarily involves providing general computer support, maintaining data dictionaries, and running data pipeline processes. The specialist will also undertake database maintenance and provide training and support to our staff.Responsibilities: Provide general computer support to maintain optimal operational efficiency Analyze data to derive insights and inform decision-making processes Create and maintain data dictionaries to ensure data consistency and accuracy Oversee data pipeline processes to ensure smooth data flow and operation Map existing databases for enhanced data management and optimization Conduct routine database maintenance as directed to ensure database integrity Provide training and support to staff, increasing their technical proficiency Work in a fast-paced, high-volume office environment, adapting to changing priorities Utilize knowledge of complex databases to improve processes and efficiency Communicate effectively with both internal and external consumers to address inquiries and provide solutions.Requirements Proficient in Data Entry and Microsoft Excel Familiarity with Database management and About Time software Understanding of Pricing strategies Proficiency in SQL and Python programming languages Knowledge of Consumer Electronics Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites Excellent Interpersonal Skills Experience with Tableau software and Entity Formation Familiarity with Scale Out and Maps API Proficiency in SharePoint Administration Ability to Provide Training and Perform Routine tasks Experience in handling Request For Quotation Knowledge of Data Pipelines, Database Maintenance, and Data Dictionary Experience with managing Existing Databases and Complex Databases Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
